National Testing Facility for Clean Fuels

Energy Infrastructures Ltd., is promoting the establishment of an advanced testing facility for clean fuels, designed to serve as a national platform to evaluate, demonstrate and accelerate advanced energy technologies. The facility will bridge the gap between technological development and industrial application, as well as transforming innovative ideas into commercial energy solutions.

 

The establishment of the facility follows the company’s selection by the Innovation Authority and the Ministry of Energy to build and operate a demonstration site for clean fuel testing and pilots.  In this context, advanced testing infrastructure is being developed, which will allow technological companies to conduct trials, pilots and demonstrations in an operational environment within a complex industrial setting.

The facility is expected to support development and testing of technologies of clean hydrogen, synthetic fuels, sustainable aviation fuels and green ammonia, as well as enabling trial runs, safety and operational testing and providing solutions to investors, regulators and potential partners.
Through its testing facility, the company aims to strengthen Israel’s position at the forefront of innovation in future fuels, promote collaborations with startups, academia and industry, and accelerate technological development to contribute to energy resilience, economic growth and the building of future energy infrastructures.
