Energy Infrastructures Ltd., is Israel’s national fuel and energy infrastructure corporation, serving as the operational arm of the State of Israel to guarantee energy security and continuity during both routine operations and emergencies.

The company operates the infrastructure system of the fuel sector, from petrol ports and loading and unloading facilities, through a network of operational and strategic storage facilities, to a grid of underground fuel pipelines spanning the length and breadth of the country. This system connects energy sources to the major consumers in the Israeli market, serving as a critical driving force in the continuous functioning of the economy and the State.

Through advanced infrastructures and a broad operational system, the company provides critical infrastructure services to the energy market’s strategic bodies, including: the refineries, fuel companies, electricity-generating power stations, the defense establishment, airports and additional government bodies.

Energy Infrastructures Ltd., operates a wholly-owned subsidiary, Oil Products Pipeline Ltd. (KMD) and is responsible for the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of the extensive pipeline network for petroleum distillate transmission.

The company’s infrastructure system is interconnected to Israel’s existing and future power plants, enabling fuel transmission both routinely and in emergencies. Thus, the company’s infrastructure serves as a central component of Israel’s energy resilience ensuring the supply of alternative fuels to the electricity sector in the event of a disruption or failure in the supply of natural gas.

To prepare for the coming decades, Energy Infrastructures Ltd., is developing the next generation of Israel’s national energy infrastructure. This forward-looking strategy ensures energy security, operational continuity, and the ability to meet the sector’s evolving needs, both in routine operations and in emergencies. Alongside strengthening and expanding its traditional core infrastructures, the company is also advancing future energy sectors. including energy storage through renewable green hydrogen and alternative and innovative technologies which constitute a central component in the company’s vision and in its development in the coming years.

The main projects for the company include:

Developing new petrol ports in Haifa and Ashdod
Establishing advanced storage farms, including underground storage solutions
Upgrading and expanding the national fuel pipeline grid
Increasing the capacity, reliability and operational redundancy of the economy’s critical infrastructure
Spearheading innovative solutions for energy storage and implementing alternative and clean fuels
