Submitting a Request according to the Freedom of Information Law
Receipt of information is subject to payment of a fee as per Freedom of Information Regulations.
The person submitting the request for information has to pay the application fee and undertake to accept responsibility for handling and production fees up to the updated amount shown on the Government Freedom of Information Unit website:

Energy Infrastructures Ltd.Exemption from Payment – according to the Freedom of Information Law, exemption from payment will be granted in the following instances:
• Exemption from payment of production fees shall be granted to each request up to the fourth hour (i.e. payment starts from the fourth hour).
• Personal information – Exemption from payment of the application and processing fees for up to four working hours.
• A registered association as defined by the Associations Law – shall be granted exemption from payment on the application and processing fees for up to four working hours.
• A person requesting information for academic research - shall be granted exemption from payment on the application and processing fees for up to four working hours.
• A person who is eligible to receive a pension - shall be granted exemption from payment on the application and processing fees for up to four working hours.Clarification – the exemption from production fees ‘up to four hours’ means beyond the three hours already provided as part of the application submission. This means that exemption will be granted for three hours included in the ‘regular’ fee with an additional four hours, reaching a total exemption of seven work hours (i.e. payment will be required starting from the eighth hour).

• An applicant wishing to submit a request under the Freedom of Information Law 1998, should do so online using the website of the Ministry of Justice, the Government Freedom of Information Unit, and attach a reference number.
• The fee should be paid according to the instructions on this page.
